Kamala Harris Campaign Surrogate Tells Fox Biden’s Endorsement Was a ‘Big F You’ to Democrats: ‘This Is a $1 Billion Disaster’

A now-former campaign surrogate for Vice President Kamala Harris unloaded on Democrats in a Fox News interview, calling Harris’s campaign a “$1 billion disaster” and accusing President Joe Biden of giving a “big F you” to his own party.

Democratic National Committee finance committee member Lindy Li joined Fox News’ Will Cain on Saturday and held nothing back when giving her analysis of Harris’s campaign. Li was a campaign surrogate and a donor. She argued Biden’s swift endorsement of Harris after he dropped his reelection campaign hurt Democrats. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) similarly argued the president should have dropped out sooner, giving the party more time to pick a nominee.

“I actually think President Biden, the whole endorsing her 30 minutes after he dropped out, I think that was a big, F you to the party. ‘If you don’t want me, here’s somebody you may not like, deal with it,'” Li said.

“Suggesting he’s sticking the party with Kamala Harris?” Cain asked.

“Kind of like sticking it to the man,” Li said.

She went on to call Harris’s campaign a “$1 billion disaster.”

“The truth is this is just an end epic disaster, this is a $1 billion disaster. Actually, it was $1,000,0018,000, right? They’re $20 million or $18 million in debt. It’s incredible, and I raised millions of that. I have friends I have to be accountable and explain things to because I told them it was a margin of error race,” Li said. “I was promised, Jen O’Malley Dillon promised all of us that Harris would win. She even put videos out saying Harris would win. I believed her, my donors believed her, and so they wrote massive checks. I just feel like a lot of us were misled.”
