Laura Ingraham: The Left’s Constant Nazi Comparisons Are ‘Why They Are Going To Get Killed in 2020’
Laura Ingraham got very heated over the media’s coverage of the immigration crisis occurring at the southern border.
Ingraham began by blasting the Time Magazine cover of the little migrant girl crying in front of President Donald Trump, which it turned out that the child whose photo went viral last week was never separated from her parents. Time offered a correction but also stood by the cover, stating it “captured the stakes of this moment.”
“So the magazine defends an emotional but totally misleading image because it makes their point toward their agenda,” Ingraham reacted. “And I guess making their point, of course, is more important than reporting the facts.”
Shortly after opening up to a panel, she butted heads with Democratic strategist Joel Payne, who insisted that the children being separated from their parents at the border were being placed in “internment camps.” And when dodging her question about whether there should be a penalty for illegal immigrants who cross the border and refusing to respond to MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch comparing Trump supporters to Nazis, she unleashed on him.
“He says there should be borders but there should be absolutely no penalty for crossing the border because then if you penalize someone, you are a Nazi, you’re putting people in internment camps, you’re going to concentration camp, and anyone who voted for Trump is a Nazi,” Ingraham said. “That’s where the left is and that’s why they are are going to get killed in 2020.”
