Michele Bachmann: Actions Taken By Obama Administration Are “Thoroughly Corrupt”

Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann appeared on Meet the Press and gave host David Gregory a somewhat difficult time by frequently speaking about whatever she wanted regardless of whether it was responsive to the questions he posed. However, on one point she was clear, Bachmann did not back down from previous comments alleging President Obama’s administration is a “gangster government.”

Elaborating on her frustration with Obama, Bachmann claimed:

“I believe that the actions of this government have been emblematic of ones that have not been based on true American values. . . . I think that there have been actions that have been taken by this government that I think are corrupt, thoroughly corrupt.”

When Gregory asked Bachmann if she was concerned that many view her as an extremist who more readily fuels anger rather than builds a consensus, Bachmann instead preferred to discuss her belief that Obama has done a horrible job with “anemic job creation,” “out of control spending,” and high gas prices. Therefore, she is determined to do everything possible to make sure Obama does not have a second term.
