Morning Joe Roasts Jared Kushner, Suggests He Should Lend Trump Saudi Money to Pay His $454M Bond: ‘Full Circle’

MSNBC’s Morning Joe had a suggestion for how former President Donald Trump could find the cash he needs for his $464 million bond — ask his son-in-law.

While discussing the ongoing Republican-led impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, co-host Mika Brzezinski asked former Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) for her take. And it was McCaskill who pointed out that Jared Kushner probably had a lot of money on hand:

McCaskill: These guys get so wrapped up in their bubble of MAGA and, you know, “Anything we can do to make Biden look bad makes Trump happy, and therefore we’ve got to do it,” that they lose sight of the voters that will make a difference. And I think for most voters, they see that there is no “there” there. And this is just another example of hypocrisy, especially when it comes to Jared Kushner and his $2 billion, who, by the way, won’t even lend his father-in-law a billion of it–

Brzezinksi: What is that?

McCaskill: — so he can appeal his case.

Brzezinksi: Why won’t he do that? Jen Palmieri, why won’t Jared help his father-in-law? Is there a rift? I mean, he made $2 billion. It’s not, it’s not like you can’t just fork over the Saudi money to help Trump pay off his civil judgment. I mean, my God, that would be just perfect, wouldn’t it? Full circle. Corruption.

Trump was ordered by a New York City judge to pay $464 million after being found liable of civil fraud, but his legal team said that such a payment was a “practical impossibility.” If he can’t pay the full amount by March 25, New York Attorney General Letitia James has threatened to seize Trump’s New York properties.
