Peter Doocy Questions Psaki on Report About VP’s Office: Is White House Concerned About Alleged ‘Abusive Environment’?
Fox News’ Peter Doocy pressed Jen Psaki on Friday about a new report about alleged “chaos” in Vice President Kamala Harris’ office.
Politico reported this week on tensions and “chaotic moment[s]” in the VP’s office, with one source saying “it’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like shit.”
The report also said, “The dysfunction in the VP’s ranks threatens to complicate the White House’s carefully crafted image as a place staffed by a close-knit group of professionals working in concert to advance the president’s agenda.”
Doocy asked Psaki at Friday’s briefing, “Is the White House concerned that some vice presidential staffers reportedly feel like they work in an ‘abusive environment’?”
Psaki responded by saying, “I try not to speak to or engage on anonymous reports or anonymous sources.”
“The Vice President is an incredibly important partner to the President of the United States. She has a challenging job, a hard job, and she has a great supportive team of people around her,” she added.
Bloomberg News’ Jennifer Jacobs reacted on Twitter by remarking that Psaki’s team “regularly organizes anonymous briefings on topics in the news” — something that Psaki ended up responding to.

I think everyone knows the difference between attacking someone as an anonymous source and providing details on a policy announcement to reporters in an effort to provide information and answer media questions
