RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel: Claiming Russia Helped Trump is ‘Dangerous For Our Democracy’

Ronna McDaniel, niece of Mitt and chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, appeared on Fox & Friends Thursday morning alongside Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale.

When asked to respond to former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper‘s comments that Russia interfered in the election and threw it to Donald Trump, McDaniel went off. She hailed Trump’s campaign and bashed in Clinton’s, calling her out of touch.

“I continue to think it’s a joke,” Parscale, who ran Trump’s skeletal digital strategy in 2016, investing heavily in Facebook. “I think these people take these reports from these liberal media that just make up stories.”

“This is just a witch hunt,” Parscale said, referring to the investigation into the Trump campaign’s Russia ties.

“It is dangerous for our democracy for them to continue to delegitimize the voters of this country,” McDaniel said.

“18 months later!” Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade said.

“Millions of Americans came and voted for President Donald Trump,” McDaniel continued. “It is dangerous for our democracy if they continue to push this narrative that Russia determined the fate of our election.”
