Sarah Sanders: Trump ‘Certainly’ Believes He Has the Power to Fire Mueller

Sarah Huckabee Sanders said during today’s White House press briefing today that President Trump “certainly” believes he has the power to fire Robert Mueller.

ABC News’ Jon Karl first confronted Huckabee Sanders on the President denouncing the raid on Michael Cohen‘s office as “an attack on our country.”

Huckabee Sanders said that Trump has believed this investigation has gone too far, but declined to say more than that.

But when Karl asked her if the President believes he has the power to fire the special counsel, Huckabee Sanders said he “certainly believes” he does.
