Anthony Scaramucci guest-hosted The View on Friday morning, and was asked about former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who he has previously…derided?
The Mooch was asked who he thought was the “most unlikeable” person in the White House — and he replied that there were two: Bannon and former chief of staff Reince Priebus.
“What was Bannon’s worst quality in your opinion?” View host Joy Behar asked.
The Mooch replied that while Bannon had some decent qualities — “he’s a great speechwriter, he has great linguistic skills” — he said the chief strategist’s worst quality was that he “had a little bit of a messianic complex.”
“He got very mad at me for going to Davos Switzerland to speak at the World Economic Forum,” Scaramucci said. He explained that as an “anti-globalist” and the chair of Breitbart, Bannon was very opposed to the forum.
“People have messianic complexes, they think that they’re the answer, they’re the solution,” he continued.
“People also say that he’s a white nationalist,” added The View’s Sunny Hostin.
“Is he a white nationalist?” Scaramucci mused. “I would say that he has those tendencies.”
“If you read Breitbart, there’s a lot of that white nationalist, economic fervor.”
