Watch CNN Anchor Ask Same Health Care Question 10+ Times to Rep. Marsha Blackburn, Still No Answer

Hey, remember that time when Marco Rubio couldn’t be swayed from his talking points during a Republican presidential debate and got completely owned by Chris Christie in the process. The incident likely killed Rubio’s White House hopes right there and lead to widespread mockery of the Florida senator.

Well, we witnessed something kinda similar to that during a CNN ‘interview’ this afternoon, when Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) came armed with pro-AHCA marching orders and would not be deterred from spouting them, no matter how hard Brianna Keilar tried to stop her.

The conversation started off innocuously enough, with Blackburn discussing the most recent amendments to the Republican health care bill and things went along pretty smoothly. That changed when Keilar attempted to get some real answers from Blackburn about insurance premiums rising and pre-existing conditions, Blackburn robotically reverted to canned responses, causing the CNN host to get visibly frustrated.

Over and over and over again, Keilar pushed Blackburn to provide at least one non-rehearsed and oft-repeated line to her questions, all to no avail.

“All right, Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn, thank you so much,” Keilar deadpanned at the end. “Hope to have you back and get an answer to that question. We do appreciate it.”

“I gave you one,” Blackburn responded, to no reaction from Keilar.
