Trump Says No Need to Prep For NoKo Summit: ‘Just Ask Hillary at the Debates’

Just before heading to Canada for what’s bound to be a contentious G7 Summit, President Trump slammed the “fake news” for reporting what he said about not needing to prepare for his upcoming denuclearization talks with North Korea.

Yesterday, Trump said that he doesn’t need to do a whole lot of prep for his upcoming meeting with Kim Jong Un because it’s all “about attitude.” When asked about this today, Trump struck back and said he never actually said that because “I’ve been preparing all my life.”

He also brought up Hillary Clinton…because, you know, the 2016 election will never actually be over.

“I always believe in preparation, but I’ve been preparing all my life. These one week preparations, they don’t work. Just ask Hillary what happened to her in the debates. I’ve been preparing for this all my life. Frankly, it’s really just fake news. If you run, Peter, just a little bit longer the clip you would see I’ve been preparing all my life. I said that. But, you know, the news doesn’t pick that up. It’s fake news.”
