Trump Tells CNN’s Acosta: ‘I Like Real News, Not Fake News. You’re Fake News.’

CNN’s Jim Acosta shouted out a question to President Trump this afternoon at a White House event, and the President again called him “fake news.”

Following Trump’s comments today explicitly calling out Neo-Nazis and white supremacists, Acosta asked him why he didn’t “condemn those hate groups by name over the weekend.”

“They’ve been condemned,” the President said. “They have been condemned.”

Acosta asked him about why they’re not having a press conference and pressed Trump on whether they can ask him some more questions.

Trump said, “It doesn’t bother me at all, but, you know, I like real news, not fake news. You’re fake news.”

As he walked out, Acosta called out a question about whether the President himself has spread fake news.
