‘What the F*ck?!’: Rosie O’Donnell Says Rosie Perez Isn’t Leaving The View

Last night, Variety reported that Rosie Perez will be leaving her role on The View after just four months. A spokesperson for ABC News later told Mediaite that her “status with the show has not changed.”

That sentiment was echoed by The View’s Rosie O’Donnell at the top of the show Thursday morning.

“No matter what you read anywhere, Rosie Perez is also coming back after she is done rehearsing her play,” O’Donnell told the audience. “Her play, the new Larry David play that she’s starring in [Fish in the Dark] opens soon. And then she will be back here at her job, regardless of what you hear in other shows or read in magazines as I did last night at 11:40 and went, ‘What the fuck?!'”

That last bit was bleeped, but the audience’s shocked reaction gave O’Donnell away.
