Yes, Tucker Carlson Really Interviewed a Witch Tonight: ‘Is Eye of Newt an Actual Thing?’

Has Fox News’ Tucker Carlson completely run out of topics to talk about on his show?

During tonight’s broadcast of Tucker Carlson Tonight, the conservative commentator brought on Amanda Garcia, a witch from Los Angeles who has helped cast a monthly spell on President Donald Trump so that he’d stop harming people. No, for real, this is what happened tonight.

After Garcia explained why she and other witches were casting their binding spell on Trump, Carlson wanted to know if this was all on the up-and-up and legal.

“Most people just go ahead and vote or like buy a t-shirt,” the Fox News host noted. “Is this legal? Can you run around and cast spells? Are you allowed to cast spells on people? Is there any federal regulation of this?”

Garcia stated that it was a “symbolic action” and that the witches casting these spells are hoping to “galvanize people who resist with our hearts.” This then led Carlson to ask a very, very, very serious question.

“Since you are the only witch — I have interviewed a lot of people, I have never interviewed a witch,” he said. “Sincere question: Is eye of newt an actual ingredient?”

When Garcia shot back that real problems are North Korea, punishing immigrant children and student debt, Tucker acknowledged her concerns but still wanted to know one thing — “Is eye of newt an actual thing or not?”

Carlson went on to ask her if she was worried about “fooling around with things that nobody really understands” before ending the segment by telling Garcia that while “it’s kind of spooky” he’s glad she came on because she seems nice.

Yep, that just happened.
