It’s no surprise that Gretchen Carlson‘s sexual harassment suit against Fox News Chairman & CEO Roger Ailes has given way to hordes of Fox Newsers coming out to defend their boss. But can anyone figure out what exactly Geraldo Rivera is saying here?
I've known him 40 years. He's about as flirty as the grizzly in #TheRevenant. I stand with Roger Ailes

Like, is he saying Roger Ailes is as friendly as a menacing grizzly bear? Or that he’s an angry guy?
Because, well, a bunch of people pointed out it’s not the best analogy:
.@GeraldoRivera Should the comparison be to something that *doesn't* look like it's raping Leonardo DiCaprio?

wait but didn't the grizzly https://t.co/sX83qr6QFi

This is a weird analogy. The bear forces itself on someone. https://t.co/rsnLpGAzK8

And that was only the tip of the iceberg:
@GeraldoRivera Maybe you're not his type.

@GeraldoRivera delete your moustache

@GeraldoRivera does he make you wear short skirts on the air?

@nathanrabin I haven't heard such a ringing endorsement since Woody Allen defended Roman Polanski (sadly not a joke).@GeraldoRivera

.@GeraldoRivera this just in: Roger Ailes doesn't want to bang an old mustachioed man, just younger blonde women.

Now, remember, Matt Drudge went nuts with talking about “bear rape.”
Might wanna consider the choice of words there…
