A Very Colbert Christmas
‘Tis the season for Christmas classics on Hulu! Since he’s one of our Mediaite 50 and the top magazine mover of 2009, we thought we’d present his star-studded song-littered bear-fighting Christmas special from last year called A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All. Hulu is amazing for this sort of thing. Here’s A Christmas Carol, here’s The Nutcracker, and here’s, um, Holiday in Handcuffs. Hey man, the holidays are what you make them.
If you like Colbert, this special is a treat – it features Elvis Costello, Feist, Willie Nelson, Toby Keith, John Legend and Jon Stewart, singing. Yes, singing. Plus Colbert’s own children, as the urchins begging at his door at the top of the show (aw, daddy slammed the door in their face!). And of course, the bear threat level is high. Good times.
Anyhow, if you are wondering what to do now that the presents are opened and you’ve already had way too much egg nog, well, the Internet awaits. Days like today were made for Hulu. Or gigantic movie releases. (Merry Christmas, Weinstein Company!) Either way, enjoy.
