A Sandwich Shop Posted a Sign That Said ‘Liam Neeson Eats Here For Free,’ and Guess Who Showed Up?

If you want to get Liam Neeson into your sandwich shop, offer him free food. That’s the way it happened for Big Star Sandwich Co. in New Westminster, Canada. According to TMZ, the manager at the shop got word that Neeson was in the area filming, so they put up a chalkboard sign outside that said “Liam Neeson Eats Here For Free.” On the other side (click through to the next photo below), it says, “Get Taken by Our Sandwiches,” a play on Neeson’s most famous role.
And… it totally worked. TMZ says that sure enough, a few hours later Neeson walked in, slipped into character with his “most intimidating voice,” and said, “Where is my free sandwich?”
He reportedly didn’t eat, but it’s cool he played along. And, he took a photo:
Holy f**k, it worked! #LiamNeeson pic.twitter.com/CStddcrtYj
