Donald Trump Unleashes Tweetstorm After Woman Killed by Illegal Immigrant
Since its beginning, Donald Trump‘s 2016 campaign has largely been concerned with his repeated defense of his controversial statements that all Mexican immigrants are rapists and criminals.
Trump took to Twitter on Friday to politicize the death of a woman in San Francisco earlier today, insisting that her murder by an illegal immigrant proves him right all along.
ABC News reported on Friday that Kathryn Steinle was walking with her father around the city waterfront before being shot in what has been described as a random act of violence. The suspected shooter is Francisco Sanchez, who has faced felony drug charges in the past and has been deported to Mexico five times previously.
Trump condemned Steinle’s killing in a series of tweets before using the murder to make a political point:
Our Southern border is totally out of control. This is an absolutely disgraceful. situation.http://t.co/ujz3jENIYo We need border security!

Our Southern border is unsecure. I am the only one that can fix it, nobody else has the guts to even talk about it. http://t.co/ujz3jENIYo

Where are the other candidates now that this tragic murder has taken place b/c of our unsafe border http://t.co/amaV7tqgAR We need a wall!

Trump then went on to blast America Ferrera, who sarcastically thanked him for encouraging Latinos to vote against him, and 2016 rival Marco Rubio, who gave a statement of his disapproval:
"@BonnieKit: Thank you America Ferrara for supporting lawless criminals from Mexico. One more needless death. 2 innocent lives taken"
