Fox’s Ed Henry: When Will Hillary Start Talking to the Press?
Fox News’ Ed Henry is just a teeny, tiny bit irked that Hillary Clinton has so far not taken any questions from reporters. Henry is on the campaign trail following Clinton in Iowa today, and he wrote a piece for FoxNews.com about the 2016 candidate’s lack of press availability.
Henry gets a little snarky about how “spontaneous” and open Clinton and her team have been since her official announcement Sunday. And the only “morsels” provided to the press so far, he says, have been “about food [rather] than actual interactions with real voters.” And to prove his point, he goes into some detail about all the food-related Clinton news they’ve gotten.
But what’s bothering him the most is lack of press availability to take any actual questions and how she’s not yet “strapped on a helmet for an interview,” in comparison to the press availability so far from her Republican rivals.
