Tone Deaf, Part Six: BP CEO Says “I’d Like My Life Back”
So this happened. During an interview with NBC News (that aired yesterday morning on Today) BP CEO Tony Hayward was asked if he was sorry. His reply almost hit the mark…until it didn’t, when he said “I’m sorry. We’re sorry for the massive disruption it’s caused their lives. There’s no one who wants this over more than I do. I’d like my life back.” This from the same guy who allegedly claimed that the leak was tiny in a “very big ocean.’
