Kimmel Reminds Oscars: Be Political, Trump Will Tweet About It in His Morning Bowel Movement
Jimmy Kimmel opened the Oscars with a slew of jokes about Donald Trump, and he concluded his monologue by reminding tonight’s nominees that any one of them could be the next person to earn an angry tweet from the president.
Kimmel’s Trump jokes touched on everything from an #OscarsSoWhite throwback to a bit about the “overrated” Meryl Streep. As he concluded his set, Kimmel told the applauding audience to remember that if they took a shot at Trump on stage, the Commander in Chief would more than likely tweet about it first thing in the morning.
We’re at the Oscars. The Academy Awards. You’re nominated. You got to come. Your families are nominated. Some of you will get to come up here on this stage tonight and give a speech that the President of the United States will tweet about in all caps during his 5:00 A.M. bowel movement tomorrow, and I think that’s pretty darn excellent if you ask me.
