Marilyn Monroe Chest X-Rays Go For $45,000 At Las Vegas Auction
A set of x-rays of Marilyn Monroe‘s ribcage taken in 1954 just recently sold for $45,000. Probably not the kind of x-ray vision men in the ’50s were hoping for vis-a-vis Marilyn Monroe’s chest, but still worth raking in a five-digit price!
The x-rays were up for auction at the Hollywood Legends Auction in Las Vegas, where apparently diminishing interest in Monroe made owners estimate the price of the x-rays at $3000. Needless to say, they were pleasantly surprised.
