#NotMyPresident: Anti-Trumpers Protest the Election Results Across Twitter
Donald Trump has won the presidential election, but if his aim is to heal the country’s divisions, online activity shows that he’s got his work cut out for him.
The incendiary GOP candidate pulled off his major upset last night, which he concluded with a speech about how it’s time for the country to unite and proceed into the next four years. Nonetheless, Hillary Clinton loyalists and those angered by Trump’s rhetoric and policies are making it clear that they will not accept Trump represent their country:

Others, however, took note of the Twitter activity and reacted with disapproval. Beyond the typical gloating and mockery from Trump supporters, some people felt that the hashtag would be hypocritical in the reverse scenario, and that Americans must accept the results for the good of democracy:
#Notmypresident is trending. That is a real disgrace and if the shoe were on the other foot, everyone using it would be apoplectic.

Aren't the same people in the #NotMyPresident movement also the ones who raged at Trump claiming he might not accept the electoral outcome?
