O’Reilly: “Some Of These Tea Party People Are Nuts . . . They’re Crazy”

video

The National Tea Party convention was held this weekend in Nashville, Tennessee, and has, predictably, been a hot topic on cable news. Tonight Bill O’Reilly took his turn, discussing the third party phenomenon/movement with Fox News pundit Brit Hume and offered a frank and candid assessment on some of the participants of the Tea Party movement. “Some of these tea party people are nuts! They are! They’re crazy!”

    At that Convention… I agree!

  • DEO

Palin is the mad queen of the teaparty…how big can that bad brown wig get???? She is looking like a tele-evangelist with the tattooed eyebrows and MANTAN slathered all over her.
Yikes, then she opens her gob.

Wow. If a conservative talked like that about any of the women on the left, the screams of “sexism” would be deafening. Like a good leftie, if you can’t debate facts, attack someone personally. Talk about their looks, their religion, where they live or what they drive or what they do for a living. Anything to steer the conversation into personal insults, where the left is more comfortable.

    Brilliantly said writer, brilliantly said

You know… try KEEPING it in context.

O’Reilly was half right. They’re all nuts, crazy. I saw the ever compromised Kampain Karl Kameron interview the crazed lunatic picture above. I’d never seen an ego bigger than Kampain Karl’s until then. What I want to know is: Where were these people, supposedly so concerned with the Constitution, albeit an odd, clearly erroneous interpretation of much of the Constitution when W and Cheney were shredding it? Not a peep from this sorry lot then. Well, White People. I need a week of sunshine to distance myself.

DEO wasn’t talking about her gender, writer, he was talking about her crazy.

O’Reilly is correct, there are nutz in the Tea Party Movement. There are also nutz in the Republican Party, nutz in the Democrat Party (as is evidenced clearly here in the comments section), and nutz in the middle.

Since the beginning of time there have been nutz.

Is this some sort of new found revelation that Mediaite and it’s progressive follwers have just discovered? You sound like a bunch of 3rd graders.

  • The Real Royal King

Yes, there are nutz in a can of Planter’s and nutz in a can of Fischer’s. Planter’s, like the (White) Tea Partiers, has more nutz and nuttier nutz.

  • timzank

So TRRK, are you a black guy or do you just play one on the internet?

I think, Tim, we’ve all known there are nutz everywhere — but the Tea Party embraces the nuts, becomes one with the nutz, by and for the nutz.

    Bill, And Dems don’t?

  • Azarkhan

I love white people who criticize other white people for being, well, white people. A good example is Chris Matthews, who is so white he f*cking glows in the dark. Other good examples are some of the leftist boobs who write here, like the Real Royal A-Hole, Billy Bob Adkins, and DumbE Opie. (another one even calls himself “homie”; now how cute is that!)

Somewhere along the way these white people heard that black people be cool, and they wanted to join that set! Of course, they didn’t really want to join. I mean, they weren’t going to give up that nice “white” education that got them that nice “white” job that got them that nice “white” house in the nice “white” suburbs. (Oh I forgot, these superior white people prefer to live in an urban setting, i.e., if it is a nice “white” gentrified neighborhood)

But somehow it still didn’t feel right. They looked in a mirror and YIKES! THEY WERE STILL WHITE! What to do? Ahhhh, of course, they thought: We’ll just pretend we’re not white. We can’t be can we? After all, we’re enlightened, we’re superior, and we feel the pain of the downtrodden oppressed minorities. But how to make that distinction? Hmmmm. Oh right, we’ll critique all those other white people who don’t think exactly like we do. We’ll label them racists.

The only problem was that black people never got the message. Because, to paraphrase Malcolm X, regardless of the size of a white leftist’s ego, amount of education, or status in life, to a black person, they are still just “white boys”.

Oh, Dems have their nutz – I give you Lieberman. But the Tea Party goes far beyond the call and, as I said and demonstrated by AirheadSarah, embraces the lunacy.

  • timzank

When I think of Dem nutz, Cynthia Mckinney always brings back fond memories. I actually miss her and 911 truther rants, and her New Orleans was bombed rants. She was fun.

  • The Real Royal King

Cynthia McKinney is not a Democrat. She is a Green Party member.

  • timzank

She is now, but she was a (elected) democrat from georgia her whole political life until she decided to run for prez on the crazy town ticket.

  • writer

No, Bill. Mentioning her “wig”, her eyebrows, and her makeup is talking about her appearance, no matter how you try to spin it. If the left wasn’t so hateful, I’d almost feel sorry for them. Whenever disagreeing with someone politically, they find it necessary to throw in a few comments about the person’s looks, as if that somehow strengthens the argument. Just curious. If Palin is that physically unattractive, what do you consider Nancy Pelosi or Rachel Maddow, looks wise?

  • pyrope

Writer, I agree with Water Loo’s accolades.

TRRK: That Cynthia McKinney is a member of the Green Party does not make me think more of her than if she were a Democrap. She would be a 24k nutcase regardless of her party affiliation.

Bill O’Reilly’s remarks: I think he’s sabotaging his career–like Daryl Strawberry, he seems to be his own worst enemy.

Is the “Tea Party” full of nutjobs? Probably so–the garden needs weeding.

Still, folks, we’re being screwed by the Democrats and we’re being screwed by the the Republicans; neither seem to have a grip on fiscal responsibility, adequate appreciation for the Constitution, and the reality that “We the People” must deal with on a day-to-day basis.

The Libertarians? Nah, when you get down to the fine points, they’re nutjobs, too.

I think very few people are capable of understanding that we’re ALL being played for suckers. As it turns out, the Tea Party seems our one best hope but the nutjobs therein need to be winnowed out–just as the nutjobs back in 1796 had to be expunged. What really troubles me is that I very sincerely doubt that the people of today have the guts to do what it takes to take back this country.
