Piers Morgan Reminds The Staff Of Parker Spitzer That They’re His Warm-Up Act
Piers Morgan has made a series of fun web videos in the lead up to his new show, many of which have been produced by He Who Will Not be Named (not because of any malice, just because I’m terrible at remembering names. Steve Krack…inski?). The latest, though, is probably the best, with Morgan bursting into the office of Parker Spitzer to remind them that they will soon be nothing more than his “warm-up act.” God, those Brits get away with saying anything. Must be the accent.
“Well, they say every good act needs a good warm-up act and I’m about to go and meet mine, because the people lying behind those walls there are in the process of planning their show tonight and that show will, effectively, become my warm-up. I’m not sure they see themselves that way, but I’m about to remind them.”
Some nice zings in there, however, the best line came from Eliot Spitzer when the conversation turned to WikiLeaks and transparency. Morgan asked if he and Kathleen Parker would mind if their personal emails were ever published. “Mine have been,” responded Spitzer.
Check out the video from CNN below. Oh, wait, I’ve got it! Krackalewski! That’s it, right?
