Rush: Trump’s Not Gonna Adjust His Tune, Paul Ryan Is
Rush Limbaugh has some hard words for any conservatives who think Paul Ryan‘s little show of pushback yesterday is going to move the GOP presumptive nominee.
The fact is, Limbaugh said, whether or not Trump has the support of the House Speaker isn’t really important.
Ryan is not going to get Trump to budge on anything because moving toward the Republican agenda, he said “is not good for Trump — it would be an error, maybe even an unforced error.” His political brand has been built on defying Ryan and the establishment he represents. And Ryan isn’t holding any cards.
“If anybody’s gonna move here…” he trailed off. “Trump’s the nominee!”
“If there’s gonna be compromise here it’s gonna not be Trump moving to Ryan,” he concluded. “I know that’s blasphemy to some.”
