Russian Embassy Trolls Trump Critics With Leonardo DiCaprio Meme

The Russian Government has a message for people who think President Trump is the puppet of Vladimir Putin, and they delivered it in the form of THAT meme of Leonardo DiCaprio.
Yeah, seriously. This is the tweet that Russia’s Embassy to the United Kingdom directed towards English writer Louise Mensch and Democratic Coalition co-founder Scott Dworkin.
To really special people like @LouiseMensch and @funder who keep telling the world that @POTUS is a Russian puppet. pic.twitter.com/eURm0zhjKP

The tweet grabbed the attention of quite a few people this morning, and the embassy defended itself in this Twitter exchange:
@laeomtweets @LouiseMensch @funder @POTUS Please, don’t take a twitter account for a graveyard. It is a place for people to communicate and have REASONED debate and, yes, some fun.

@laeomtweets @LouiseMensch @funder @POTUS Reasoned=debate based on facts.US Gov claims it owns facts, not interested in indep.investigation.What to do when propaganda gets ridiculous?

Mensch, for her part, retweeted reactions to the meme while offering this comment of her own:
Hey @RussianEmbassy do you remember all those good times we had at the start when you told me Putin wasn’t invading Ukraine? #facts #reason https://t.co/VM1cmipMNi

Of course, this is not the first time the Russian Embassy has used dank memes to address pressing political issues.
