Samuel L. Jackson Narrates Scathing Colbert SuperPAC Attack Ad Against Stephen Colbert

Stephen Colbert has been very concerned about going to jail since he decided to explore a run for President of the United States (of South Carolina), so much so that he gave his SuperPAC to Jon Stewart and, apparently in complete non-coordination with each other, Colbert SuperPAC is going after Stephen Colbert. This time, the pro-Herman Cain ad stars Samuel L. Jackson, and blasts Colbert for “turning our election into a circus.”

That previous line is uttered as a clown wind surfs on the screen– an allusion to the now-famous 2004 anti-John Kerry “windsurfing” ad– and Jackson continues his attack with more and more damning evidence, like “Why is the T in his name silent? What else is he hiding– letting murderers out of jail?” Jackson notes that Colbert was not “running attack ads against him just so we’ll think they’re not coordinating,” but still explodes in a rage unseen since the film classic, Snakes on a Plane– in fact, it’s a variation of the most famous line in that film. The ad concludes endorsing Herman Cain, and warning that American can’t afford a president like Colbert (with an old clip of Colbert telling Conan O’Brien, “I just think that Rosa Parks was overrated.”

    Hahahahaha

I love that this feels like it keeps getting more and more out of hand.

I don’t think any ad has particularly stood out for me. But they’ve all made me want MORE!

The ads are getting better.  Cain for President!!

Whipping a corrupt campaign financing system with its own wretched excess is brilliant.

Satire is a very subtle art form. Some get it, and some don’t. As one who gets it, I think these ads will one day be looked upon as pure comedic gold, but even more for their politically educational value.

Best clip so far. Absolutely genius.

I hope Colbert and Stewart are going for the coordinating´fine.

    Thanks for the link!

Don’t thank me. Thank the Heroes at Americans For A Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow.
But seriously… That BIRD @ 0:30 in the 2nd ad! hahaha

  • Henry Wood

Which they can pay with cash from the SuperPac…

So that’s how you make sausage, eh?

    “East coast Hollywood elitist.”

    Awesome! haha

Cain up at near 15% in SC.

RANDOM? That bird was slo-taking a brilliant smile!

Was that Sam Elliott on the voice-over?

These ads are getting increasingly like Easter egg hunts.

So assume these ads result in a blow-out for Cain: then what? If served, will he ask?

  • Hout Bosques

And which can make up WEEKS & WEEKS of related bits on each of their shows, drawing out the drama & the tension of being charged, self-breaching their client confidentiality (as usual) by getting their advice from Trevor Potter Taped In Front Of A Live Audience, prepping their co-ordinated perjurious defenses, each turning into a whistleblower on the other, each trying to cut his own deal with the prosecution, both of them completely falling apart on the witness stand & confessing to kidnapping the LIndberghs’ baby & sacking Venzetti, & on & on until the Roberts majority on the Supreme Court finally gives up & says, Hey, we only KIDDING with that Citizen United decison; call it a Dream Sequence & we’re all squaresies, right? Also, Bush v. Gore – none of us can believe all you morons actually FELL for that! And then he & Cheney actually got you lemmings to invade Iraq – what a laugh riot! We we’re all ROTFLORO*.

(* rolling on the floor laughing our robes off).

It’s gets more bizarre. Friday Colbert will be holding a rally with Herman Cain?
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/01/19/stephen-colbert-herman-cain-rally_n_1215098.html

Cain says he’s in on the joke. I’m wondering if he really gets it.

I think Colbert and Steward are doing a great job mocking the Supreme Court’s decision in siding with Citizens United. That decision was a freakin joke. The age at which Justices should retire is 72. This just goes to show that the older you get, you become more insane and don’t make decisions that are reflective of the time in which we live.

Mr” just let me put the tip in for a minute” for president!!!!

  • 12voltman1

    Love it!

I love how they used the over-dubbed line from the TV broadcast of Snakes on a Plane.

    “Monday-Friday plane”. HA!

  • 12voltman1

This entire joke may actually shake things up. It is time for the people of America to stand up against big money and campaign financing. Superpacs are hurting American politics. Cobert & Stewart are American heroes in my book!

    Loved it.

Tege…check their ages. They are relatively young for justices.

It’s certainly a sad day for this country when comedians have to depart from their careers to report the news. You’ll never enlighten the Faux News crowd, people that fail to think for themselves are destined, like cattle,to the slaughter house happy and content all the way to the end.For the rest of us,who have a few spare neurons left, you have to get off your butts and get your activist jacket on.The time has come to stop the celebration of ignorance that’s gripped this country since the village idiot from Texas got us knee deep in this mess.Enough already from THE SUPREMELY HIPPOCRITICAL COURT,they lost ANY credibility with their Florida election fiasco.Corporate money is attempting an end run to buy America politics and they’ve already made it to the 50 yard line. It’s past time to flag this illegal motion and toss a few of these knot heads out of the game.Oh! just heard Perry withdrew-1 less knot head and the 2nd Texas village idiot can now go back to governing his banana republic after he succeeds from the union.LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Errr, what?

Herman Cain jumped at the chance to visit SC and get away from his wife once he heard the University of South Carolina had Gamecocks for a mascot.  Herman’s (fill in the blanks…_ _ _ _) is always game for some action.

  • Larry Linn

    Stephen
Colbert is a comedian, and the other Republican candidates are bad jokes. Pat
Paulsen and Andy Kaufman tore down the gates, opened the door, and Colbert has
    charged through the portal!

If Iowa dont know who won why do we go there every 4 years?
