Trump Campaign’s Colorado Delegate Slate Contains a Bunch of Errors
So there appears to be a bit of a problem with the Donald Trump campaign in Colorado.
Yesterday Ted Cruz won a majority of delegates up for grabs, and today there’s a big vote for another 13 delegates up for grabs that could leave Cruz with even more.
But some of the news coming out of Colorado isn’t good for the Trump campaign, because many reporters have noticed a bunch of errors on the Trump campaign’s slate of delegates to vote for. See, there’s hundreds of delegates to choose from today, and they can only go with 13, and each campaign sends out lists of their preferred delegates.
But apparently there’s a bunch of serious errors on the Trump campaign’s. Case in point:
Uh oh. Delegate #289, who is on Trump list of preferred CO delegates, is actually Ervin Krause — and bound to CRUZ. pic.twitter.com/ZnWpLPSUc6

Seven of 26 names on Trump delegate list have incorrect numbers. Problem when ballots have no names, just numbers. pic.twitter.com/ZnWpLPSUc6

Whoops…major errors on Trump slate. 5 delegate #'s are wrong & of those 5, 1 pledged to Cruz and 2 unpledged. pic.twitter.com/Ayr1sO6VeT

Of the 7 wrong numbers on the Trump sample ballot in CO, four lead to votes for other Trump delegates, two go to unpledged and one to Cruz

Also, Trump sample ballot misspells the names of two delegates in CO. One of whom also has the wrong number

Corrected Trump sample ballot still has three wrong numbers pic.twitter.com/6EeS1rUDIY

I'm told no Trump delegate eligible to be a nat'l delegate from Colorado's 6th CD. Didn't understand process, hadn't run from their precinct

It's actually worse: Four by my count. Parks, Mizel, Lambert, Jenkins. https://t.co/kE8tMe9qaT

Contrast that with the misspellings and wrong numbers from the Trump campaign on their slate. https://t.co/0aqrMAL1mL

A senior Trump campaign adviser told ABC News that their slate “was accurate at one point,” but “the list was always changing.”
