Trump Whines About ‘Failing New York Times’ and ‘Hillary Flunky’ Maggie Haberman: She ‘Knows Nothing’

Over the weekend, the New York Times reported that President Donald Trump is in discussions to bring on an impeachment lawyer to his Russia probe legal team. The story also reported that Trump has been looking to shake up his legal team so he can change his approach to the special counsel inquiry.
This morning, Trump took to Twitter to push back on the story, making sure to utilize his favorite nickname for the newspaper.
The Failing New York Times purposely wrote a false story stating that I am unhappy with my legal team on the Russia case and am going to add another lawyer to help out. Wrong. I am VERY happy with my lawyers, John Dowd, Ty Cobb and Jay Sekulow. They are doing a great job and…..

…have shown conclusively that there was no Collusion with Russia..just excuse for losing. The only Collusion was that done by the DNC, the Democrats and Crooked Hillary. The writer of the story, Maggie Haberman, a Hillary flunky, knows nothing about me and is not given access.

As you can see above, the president says the “Failing New York Times wrote a false story” while claiming he is “VERY happy” with his lawyers, adding that John Dowd, Jay Sekulow and Ty Cobb are “doing a great job.”
He also went off on NYT reporter Maggie Haberman, calling her a “Hillary flunky” while insisting she “knows nothing” about him and “is not given access.”
