Trump, Who Said He Won’t Call Megyn Kelly a ‘Bimbo,’ Will Still Retweet People Who Do
Donald Trump can’t seem to stop the word “bimbo” coming up on his Twitter timeline in connection with Megyn Kelly. In the past few months, he has retweeted “bimbo” attacks on the Fox anchor at least two times, and yesterday he very sneakily called her a bimbo himself without directly saying so:
I refuse to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo, because that would not be politically correct. Instead I will only call her a lightweight reporter!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 27, 2016
But apparently he still has no problem with retweeting people who harbor that sentiment, because literally a day after the above tweet, this popped up on his timeline (after retweeting some insane Photoshopped scare tactic about Fox News):
"@gene70: @FireFlyFury @megynkelly @realDonaldTrump And this is the bimbo that's asking presidential questions? pic.twitter.com/oU1uUGnuWb"

A couple things here.
First, there’s a difference between a man making sexist comments about women (which is beyond objectification, by the way) and a woman making the decision for herself to pose provocatively for a magazine.
Second, this comes after a whole day of Trump supporters tweeting at Kelly that she’s a c-word. And he hasn’t exactly gone out of his way to scold people for being so nasty to her.
Third, for the sake of complete context here, Trump’s wife once posed nude for GQ.
Fourth, it certainly doesn’t seem like it’s Kelly who’s obsessed with Trump here…
And lastly, for all the whining Trump did after Kelly dared to ask him about his past misogynistic comments, he has done absolutely nothing to disprove the accusation.
