Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox Play to Spectator-Less Stadium
The Baltimore Orioles and the Chicago White Sox started playing a little after 2 pm today in Camden Yards to a near-empty stadium. The Orioles decided yesterday that due to the need for police presence in town to deal with the protests in town, but also to avoid having to do any big rescheduling, they decided to hold a game today but without any spectators.
The media was still allowed in, and some reporters tweeted photos of just how empty the stadium was:
