Charlie Sheen Crashes Drew Carey’s Improv Show, Leaves ‘Winning’ Comedy At Home

Last night Charlie Sheen dropped by Drew Carey‘s new comedy show Improv-A-Ganza, a resurrection of his old show Whose Line Is It Anyway? Sheen’s appearance was certainly unique and confirmed that although he might have Tiger Blood, it seems he severely lacks any improv comedy skills. Unless of course hearing the phrase “dead hooker” repeated is your cup of tea.

The segment required each cast member to take turns making up lines to an improvised story. Sheen’s first contribution was completely disjointed from everyone else, as he said “Charlie Sheen f*cks a dead hooker.” Colin Mochrie attempted to recover by following with “and what I mean by that is,” as he steered the comedy back to the story. Yet Sheen insisted on repeating the same line the next time it was his turn. Finally Carey’s comedians just gave up and followed Sheen down his path with at least Greg Proops offering a humorous conclusion: “the best part about dead hookers is you don’t have to pay afterwards.”

Sheen ended the story (and the torture) by saying “can I get a pre-nup you bitch.” And on that note, it mercifully seems that Sheen’s improv comedy career has come to an end. Well at least for anyone who avoided buying tickets to Sheen’s live shows.

None of that was funny- why did you single out Charlie?

Buzz-worthy for sure. I imagine embeds are being put in place all over the web.

Other than the fact that the shock value and stunt-casting is naturally going to help market the program, I take it that Ryan Stiles and Charlie most likely got along on the “Two and a Half” set and that Stiles is not feeling any animosity toward Charlie for the forced hiatus. Though to be fair, the absence of “Charlie” may actually increase Stiles’ appearance on the show.

If you look at Sheen’s film history he’s always played the serious type role, even in his comedies. He’s never been a comedian so why is this a surprise?

    What a sad spectacle.

As one of the biggest fans of Whose Line is it Anyway, I can’t express how thrilled I am that this show is on, even if it’s not exactly like WLIIA. I have to disagree with notsofast on his comment, because I found Colin Mochrie saying “What I meant to say” to be hysterical. Maybe it’s just me.

I’ve seen every WLIIA rerun that plays on ABC Family and it’s about time they had new stuff.

I did wonder myself why Ryan would be willing to put up with a guy who has compromised his job like this. Perhaps they are good enough friends that it didn’t really affect their relationship much. I didn’t think Charlie added anything to the skit with his profane improvisation.

I’ll just add that if what Sheen did here was his range of improvisation, how the hell could anyone stand to put up with an hour or more of him on stage?

If he would have said, “Obama f*cking a dead hooker.” he would be the next leading GOP Presidential candidate.

If he said that, at least he would be telling the truth, son!

    WOW

Can’t think of anything more torturous than a DREW CAREY IMPROV SHOW.

Not even some Sheen could help that.

Really? Thumbs down for that comment?

A bunch of Drew Carey fans out there? I take it you all love Leno too.

  • Jeffreysmith74
