CNN Bumped Anderson Cooper Special to Fit in More Trump Coverage

An Anderson Cooper special on the tenth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina was bumped from CNN’s schedule Tuesday night, apparently to allow more coverage of Donald Trump.

Cooper promoted the special on Twitter Tuesday afternoon…

…but a few hours later, announced that the special had been moved to Wednesday night:

So what was so important in the 9 p.m. hour that CNN made a massive schedule shift? Lots and lots of Donald Trump coverage. As in, it was literally the only topic they discussed for the entire hour.

UPDATE (3:26 PM ET): Poor Anderson. CNN has told Mediaite that the Hurricane Katrina special will be bumped again to Thursday and Friday night, presumably to cover the murder of two journalists in Roanoke, Virginia.
