CNN’s Don Lemon: Hillary ‘Using the Media’ and We’re Falling for It

CNN is hosting Hillary Clinton for a live town hall today, and on CNN earlier today, Don Lemon said it’s very clear from this and other interviews the likely 2016 contender is giving shows that she is already running a stealth campaign and is rather shrewdly “using the media” to her advantage.

Lemon said, “She’s already running and she’s using the media. She’s using the book. She’s playing us, and we’re falling right into it. She’s running already without declaring.”

A little later he did make it clear he’s not criticizing Clinton, and credited her for her “smart” media strategy.

Lemon isn’t the only CNN anchor who’s expressed these sentiments, Chris Cuomo said earlier this month that the media has basically been giving Clinton a “free ride.”
