Dem Senator: No, My Daugher Doesn’t Think Biden’s ‘Creepy’

Vice President Joe Biden really is just the country’s crazy, fun-loving uncle, and last week that was on in full display as the vice president bantered with senators and their families as he swore them in. But there was one little awkward moment when the veep got a bit too close to Maggie Coons, the daughter of Senator Chris Coons:

Well, it just so happened that Coons was on Fox News Sunday today, and Chris Wallace had to ask, “Does she think the vice president is creepy?”

Coons responded, “Chris, she doesn’t think the vice president is creepy.” He said Biden’s known his children their whole lives and all he was whispering to her was encouragement about how his own daughters were nervous at his Senate swearing-in so she should just relax.
