Geraldo: Charging Baltimore Cops ‘Very Political’ But I’m ‘Relieved’ It Happened

Geraldo Rivera thinks the six Baltimore cops shouldn’t have been charged in a “rush to judgment,” but also thinks it was, emotionally, the right thing to do, and was “relieved” it happened.

Rivera told O’Reilly Factor guest host Juan Williams that “emotionally speaking, the prosecutor did the right,” but the legalities of the case are not a slam-dunk.

He said Freddie Gray‘s arrest was definitely illegal, and Marilyn Mosby might have charged all the cops in the hope they would “turn against each other.”

And while he still thinks it was a “rush to judgment,” Rivera’s “relieved” they were charged, after being in Baltimore in “volatile” times.
