‘I Am Going to Refuse to Watch the S.O.B.’: Karl Rove Goes Off on Colbert

Last night on The Late Show, host Stephen Colbert delivered a blistering monologue in which he mocked President Donald Trump, at one time exclaiming that the only thing Trump’s mouth was good for was “being Vladimir Putin’s cockholster.” The comedian went after the leader of the free world in this manner following what he felt was the dismissive way the president treated his CBS colleague John Dickerson during an interview.

Well, as you could only imagine, conservatives are none too pleased with Colbert’s comments, and during today’s broadcast of the new Fox News program The Fox News Specialists, guest specialist Karl Rove lit into the late-night host.

“It ends on a lewd and obscene reference to the president which I found offensive,” he noted. “But the whole thing shows they wrote this. This was not a rant that he came up with off the top of his head.”

While complaining that he found the whole thing “inappropriate,” Rove stated that this only shows “how out of touch that part of the media is with the rest of America.”

At the end of the segment, Rove pointed out that Colbert will not be getting his viewership anytime soon.

“I’m going to continue doing what I do with anything Colbert,” he said. “I am going to refuse to watch the S.O.B.”

Back when Colbert was still on Comedy Central, he occasionally mocked the former Bush advisor with “Ham Rove.”
