MSNBC host Martin Bashir has “resigned” from his post as the hosts of his eponymous 4 p.m. program amid a firestorm of controversy. While it’s a poorly kept secret as to who MSNBC is eyeing as their next regular host, there is still some doubt as to which direction the network wants to go in the post-Bashir era.
