Neil Patrick Harris Whips Out His Gun At Video Game Awards
This past weekend, song and dance man and frequent award show emcee Neil Patrick Harris showed up to host Spike TV‘s Video Game Awards and in the process mocked his own past award show opening numbers. After a 60 second choreographed dance, Harris arrived on the scene, declared “what the #%$& do you think this is . . . the Tony’s” and discharged a hail of bullets leaving dead dancers everywhere.
Harris also received an award for best performance by a human male for voicing Spider-Man in the game Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. Best video game of the year went to the Wild West epic Red Dead Redemption. A few awkward pauses during the skit, but overall a fun way for video game fans to spend a Saturday night before they return to their usual Saturday night activity: playing video games.
