In the interest of complete intellectual honesty, which I know you hold dear, President Obama has not increased taxes, and, in fact, gave us small business owners a tidy and appreciated tax credit for a portion of the health insurance premiums we pay for our employees. Of course, the House Republicans want to end that tax credit and accordingly raise our taxes, but thanks to the Tea Party and the Drop Out Governor, the Republicans fell well short in the Senate, and we our saved from another Raygunesque/Poppyesque Republican tax increase.

The U.S. “Chamber Of Commerce” was promoting the idea among it’s thousands of member corporations that the “uncertainity” about the extension of the Bush Tax Cuts was keeping the companies from rehiring the millions of workers that they had fired in 2009.
