Scarborough: After VA, IRS, Secret Service Crises, Nobody Believes White House on Ebola

 

Weekend Joe Scarborough asked a Meet the Press panel Sunday morning why anybody should believe the U.S. government about the containment of ebola given previous crises the Obama administration has failed to stop.

“Right now a lot of Americans are seeing what happened in Dallas and looking at the laundry list, with what happened Secret Service, with the IRS, with the VA, with ISIS being A JV team,” Scarborough said. “So when any member of the government says relax, everything’s gonna be okay, Americans don’t believe that.”

“It’s worse,” NBC News correspondent Andrea Mitchell said, recounting the series of flubs that led to the infected patient being released from a Dallas hospital. “This was after we were being told by the government, but the CDC, by the White House that doctors and hospitals around the country were prepared.”
