The son of Cuban exiles running for Governor of Florida really couldn’t be in favor of the Arizona law if he wanted, the demographics of Florida and any math toward victory just wouldn’t allow it. If for no other reason, a large segment of his voter base could be very inconvenienced, if they were to pass through the state and I’m sure it has stirred fears in Florida’s immigrant community.

An Arizona rancher who was a fixture in the community was brutally murdered by an alleged illegal immigrant on Saturday night. The Arizona/Mexico border rancher, Robert Krentz met a cruel end after he went out in the middle of the night to investigate strange noises.

The assassin killed Krentz and his dog before scampering across the Mexican border, according to authorities on the scene.

Area residents said Krentz had no enemies, and they could think of no motive for his death other than the possibility it was related to what they called the growing level of crime in the area related to illegal immigrants and drug smugglers.
