Trump Goes Off on FBI ‘Scum’: Comey and His ‘Den of Thieves…Plotted Against My Election’

President Donald Trump just held an extraordinary 51 minute media scrum, during which he said that the new report from the Justice Department inspector general shows that the FBI “plotted” to stop him from winning the White House.

Trump started things off by going one-on-one with Steve Doocy for Fox & Friends. In the lengthy chat on the White House lawn, Trump blasted James Comey for, in the president’s view, with the bureau’s norms. As he bemoaned the “horrible” situation while complaining that the IG report concluded Comey wasn’t motivated by political bias, he declared that the FBI “plotted against my election.”

“Im actually proud because I beat Clinton dynasty. I beat the Bush dynasty. Now I guess, hopefully I’m in the process of beating very dishonest intelligence because, what they did was incredible. And real insult to millions of people that voted in that election.”

Trump went on to slam Peter Strzok and Lisa Page over their newly released text messages, along with the “scum” at the top of the FBI who worked with Comey and his “den of thieves.” After suggesting that he might get involved in the Justice Department’s business, Trump got teed up by Doocy when asked if Comey should be locked up.

“I would never want to get involved in that. Certainly he, they seemed like criminal acts to me. What he did was criminal. What he did was terrible thing to the people. What he did was so bad in terms of our constitution, in terms of the well being of our country. What he did was horrible. Should he be locked up? Let somebody make a determination. Look at all the dishonest things that “Crooked Hillary” did. Look what’s gone on. It is very sad.”

And don’t worry, they did talk about the revelation that Comey used a personal email account in connection with some of his official business.
