The View’s Sunny Hostin Shocked by Trump’s ‘Radioactive’ Color When She Attended Trial: ‘I Didn’t Realize He Was THAT Orange!’

The View’s Sunny Hostin shared her analysis of Donald Trump’s hush money trial on Friday after being in the Manhattan courtroom this week, and she had lots of thoughts about the former president’s color.

Hostin began her report by describing Trump’s skin as “burnt sienna” after co-host Joy Behar asked about his “shade.”

“It’s a burnt sienna. I have never seen him in person. I didn’t realize he was that orange… It’s almost like a radioactive orange, and it’s very shocking to see in person because he’s a tall person and he’s also a little thinner now,” Hostin, a lawyer, said.

Hostin said Trump was unlike any defendant she’d seen, claiming he was “fist bumping” with lawyers and “took a little nap.”

She described the jury as one of the most “engaged” she’s ever seen and described the jury pool as “female skewed” with more women than men.

“I think that cases are won and lost with jury selection. There are several lawyers on the jury. That was striking to me. It’s a very diverse jury,” she said. “There are many more women on the jury than there are men, even including the alternates. I mean, I couldn’t tell which ones were the alternates but there are 18 people and the majority of them are women, so that was kind of interesting to me because if people drop out it’s a pretty female skewed jury. I will also say it’s one of the most engaged juries I’ve seen.”

Trump’s Manhattan trial has attracted some big media names to the courtroom, and the former president has not always been a fan. MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell described receiving a glare from him one day in court, and Trump attacked O’Donnell on Truth Social, saying his vocal critic “looks like shit” and is a “loser.”

Adult film actress Stormy Daniels testified this week over the course of two days. Daniels alleges an affair occurred between her and Trump, something he continues to deny. Daniels detailed her alleged encounters with Trump and had to be warned at one point about giving too many unnecessary details in her answers. Two motions to dismiss from Trump’s legal team were denied.

The former president is facing more than 30 felony counts on charges he falsified business records to conceal hush money payments to Daniels. He’s denied any wrongdoing.
