Erika Kirk Tells Fox News She Never Has and ‘Never Will’ Watch Footage of Husband Being Shot

Erika Kirk told Fox News she never has and “never will” watch the viral video of her husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, being shot and killed.

She appeared on Wednesday’s Jesse Watters Primetime for her first television interview since her husband was murdered in September.

“The video was everywhere. How do you process that?” Jesse Watters asked.

“I never saw the video, I never will see it. I never want to see it,” Kirk said. “There are certain things you see in your life that you can never unsee — there are certain things you see in your life that mark your soul forever. I don’t want my husband’s public assassination to be something I ever see.”

She said she never wants her two children to see the footage, either.

Kirk then took a moment to address the people who enjoyed watching the “sick” video, which showed blood gushing from Kirk’s throat after he was shot in the neck.

She asked them to imagine if that was their father or sibling being shot; Kirk said they would likely have a “perspective shift” if they were in her shoes.

“We are human. Life is fragile,” Kirk said, while wiping tears from her eyes. “And there is so much beauty in this world — why would you waste any portion of your life looking at something so evil?”

Her interview with Watters comes nearly two months after her 31-year-old husband was murdered at a Turning Point USA event in Utah.

She has since spoken at Kirk’s memorial service, where she publicly forgave the suspected killer in a stirring moment that led to a 46-second standing ovation. Kirk was also at the White House last month, where President Donald Trump posthumously honored the slain TP USA founder with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
