High Street on Market Chef Eli Kulp Injured in Amtrak Derailment
Philadelphia chef Eli Kulp, a co-owner of Old City’s Fork Restaurant and High Street on Market was among those injured in last night’s Amtrak derailment.
Kulp sustained serious injuries for which he is being treated, according to a spokeswoman. The severity of his injuries was not disclosed.
It was announced back in March that Kulp would expand High Street on Market to Manhattan, following a year in which the restaurant received high praise from Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, and a James Beard Foundation Awards nomination for its rising star chef, Alex Bois.
Kulp originally moved from New York to open High Street on Market three years ago.
