High Street on Market Chef Eli Kulp Injured in Amtrak Derailment

 

Screen Shot 2015-05-13 at 2.19.18 PMPhiladelphia chef Eli Kulp, a co-owner of Old City’s Fork Restaurant and High Street on Market was among those injured in last night’s Amtrak derailment.

Per Philadelphia Biz Journal:

Kulp sustained serious injuries for which he is being treated, according to a spokeswoman. The severity of his injuries was not disclosed.

It was announced back in March that Kulp would expand High Street on Market to Manhattan, following a year in which the restaurant received high praise from Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, and a James Beard Foundation Awards nomination for its rising star chef, Alex Bois.

Kulp originally moved from New York to open High Street on Market three years ago.
