Ann Coulter slammed the “Kim Jong il-style tributes” on display at a Wednesday cabinet meeting with President Donald Trump.

At the televised cabinet meeting, which was run on Fox News, Trump took questions, but also received updates from various administration officials, including Department of Education Secretary Linda McMahon and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Close advisor Elon Musk was also in attendance.

McMahon joked at one point that she’d never “worked so hard” to get herself fired, referencing Trump’s desire to abolish the Department of Education altogether.

“Well, Mr. President, I don’t think I’ve ever worked so hard to try to fire myself,” she said, drawing laughter and going on to thank the president.

As the officials went around the room, they each took time to thank Trump for his work in his first 100 days in office, something Coulter found stank of something out of a dictatorship like North Korea.

“Would it be possible to have a cabinet meeting without the Kim Jong il-style tributes?” Coulter, who has not been shy about criticising Trump’s team, wrote on X.

Also on display at the cabinet meeting were Gulf of America hats. Trump has renamed the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, leading to the Associated Press being booted from White House events. Musk at one point wore both the Gulf of America and his Make America Great Again hat.

“I think this could be the greatest administration since the founding of the country,” Musk said, touting “secure borders” and “sensible spending” by the administration.
