Biden Torches Putin in Fiery Ukraine Speech: ‘For God’s Sake, This Man Cannot Remain In Power!’

President Joe Biden expressed solidarity with Ukraine and fairly shouted a gruff warning to Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin: “Don’t even think about moving on one single inch of NATO territory!”

On Saturday, President Biden delivered what the White House touted as a major address “on the united efforts of the free world to support the people of Ukraine, hold Russia accountable for its brutal war, and defend a future that is rooted in democratic principles” at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, Poland.

Among the highlights of the speech was the president’s expression of solidarity with the Ukrainian people and our allies in the region:

Every generation has had to defeat democracy’s moral foes. That’s the way the world for the world, as imperfect as we know where the appetites and ambitions of a few forever seek to dominate the lives and liberty of many. My message to the people of Ukraine is the message I delivered today to Ukraine’s foreign minister and defense minister, who I believe are here tonight. We stand with you. Period.

The president also called out Putin’s disinformation campaign and outrageous lies about the country he has been brutally invading.

Putin has the gall to say he is de-Nazifying Ukraine. It’s a lie. It’s just cynical. He knows that. And it’s also obscene! President Zelensky was democratically elected. He’s Jewish. His father’s family was wiped out in Nazi Holocaust. And Putin has the audacity, like all our autocrats before him, to believe that might will make right.

Biden went on to reiterate his prior statements that U.S. troops will not fight Russian troops in Ukraine, but warned Putin “Don’t even think about moving on one single inch of NATO territory!”

Biden concluded the speech with what sounded an awful lot like encouragement of a revolution within Russia. The President said, of Putin, “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.”

Before the speech, the president visited with Ukrainian refugees, and when asked how the experience affected his view of Putin, Biden replied “He’s a butcher.”
