Fox News Reporter Wounded by Russian Missile Warns That ‘Putin’s Gonna Try and Take Everything’

Benjamin Hall, the Fox News reporter who nearly died when he was critically wounded by a Russian missile in Ukraine, warned that Vladimir Putin is completely invested in conquest.

Hall’s comments came as European leaders arrived at the White House ahead of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for Oval Office meetings about a peace with Russia. Monday’s summit is in response to President Donald Trump’s meeting with Putin in Alaska last week.

“Putin will try to get away with as much as he can until there’s more pressure on him,” Hall warned. “He came to the table in Alaska because of the sanctions, the threat of sanctions.” Hall continued:

I think seeing all these European leaders are absolutely essential. President Trump has been very clear, recently, that this is a war on Europe’s borders and that they really need to up their game. I think that’s why we’ve seen more spending on defense. We’ve seen far more involvement from the Europeans, and I think that’s why he brought them to the table.

That combined show of force really does send a message. That’s what has to happen with President Putin. You have to show that there is real strength behind it. Because otherwise, Putin will try to take everything…He has made lots and lots of demands but until there is pressure like President Trump threatening sanctions, he won’t make any moves.

Hall and his colleagues Pierre Zakrzewski and Sasha Oleksandra Kuvshynova were covering the war just outside of Kyiv in March 2022 when they were fired on by Russian troops. Kuvshynova and Zakrzewski were killed in the attack, and Hall barely escaped with his life.
