Fox’s Lawrence Jones Can’t Believe He Actually Agrees With Alec Baldwin After Clash With Pro-Palestine Protesters
A shocking display of unity occurred on Tuesday morning when two Fox & Friends co-hosts found themselves taking the side of… Alec Baldwin.
Baldwin, widely known for his left-leaning political views, was caught on camera Monday night berating a pro-Palestine protester in New York City. In a segment about the moment, co-host Lawrence Jones, who referred to the pro-Palestine protestors as “anti-Semites,” found himself in rare agreement with Baldwin as he welcomed Fox’s Jimmy Failla, host of the FOX Across America radio show.
As they watched the clip, Failla joked that the police seen in the video were “actually there to protect the protesters from Alec Baldwin.” But Failla and Jones found themselves taking Baldwin’s side:
Failla: You know, he’s a dude that’ll pop you in the face if you mouth off.
Jones: It’s the one moment when we actually agree with Alec! And he actually kept his cool when he probably would have been justified.
Failla: Yeah, we give him a hard time. But the truth is, he’s on the right side of this thing. These people are idiots. They’re not protesters, okay? When you’re shutting down streets so medical facilities can’t get through, people can’t get to work. You’re not actually affecting any change. You’re out there getting your own currency. “Hey, we’re protesting. Look at us.”
Jones and Failla weren’t the only ones surprised at whose side they were taking this time around. Earlier in the show, while teasing the conversation, Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade even said, “Uhh, Alec? We’re in your corner on this one.”
